This project marks one of my first successful digital paintings and my initial exploration into toy concept art. I have developed a growing interest in toy design and intend to continue pursuing this area in future work. For this piece, I drew inspiration from LOL Dolls, which appealed to me as a child due to their simplicity and visual charm. However, I aimed to reinterpret this style with a more classic and timeless aesthetic. The doll was designed after my best friend, who had recently discovered she was pregnant. This personal connection gave the project additional emotional significance, and I hope to one day create dolls like this for her child and for children more broadly.
